Israel, Iran, and the Pieces of Prophecy Falling into Place

As the sun rose over the Middle East on June 13, 2025, the world awoke to news that Israel had struck deep inside Iran—an unprecedented military operation targeting nuclear facilities, ballistic missile sites, and high-ranking generals. Operation Rising Lion wasn’t just strategic. It may have been prophetic.
Over 200 Israeli aircraft conducted sweeping airstrikes across Iran, hitting key targets in Bushehr, Natanz, and Tehran. Among the dead: senior leaders of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and heads of its nuclear program. The strikes crippled radar systems, destroyed missile storage centers, and shattered symbolic centers of Iranian military pride. Iran, humiliated and shaken, responded with over 100 drones—and the world now holds its breath.
But beneath the geopolitical headlines, a biblical prophecy nearly 2,600 years old may be unfolding before our eyes.
“Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.” — Jeremiah 49:35
Many of you may not know but Elam was an ancient region located in what is now southwestern Iran, near the Persian Gulf—exactly where Israel’s bombs just fell. In Jeremiah 49:34–39, God declares judgment against Elam: their military power ("the bow") will be broken, they will be dismayed before their enemies, and their people will be scattered to the four winds. Yet in the final verse, He promises eventual restoration in the latter days.
Consider the parallels:
Elam’s modern “bow” is its missile and nuclear power—centralized in the very areas just struck.
The IRGC, long considered untouchable, has been decapitated.
Internal chaos now brews, with regime instability and rumors of civil unrest. If Iran spirals, we may yet see a mass scattering of people, as pro-Western elites flee and factions within Iran collapse.
Could we be watching the initial cracking of this ancient bow?
Israel Declares: No More Two-State Solution
On the heels of this war, Israel’s leadership is making bold declarations. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently reaffirmed that a two-state solution is dead. Members of his government and Knesset allies have stated clearly: Israel intends to claim all land that belongs to it by covenant, not by negotiation.
“Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.” — Genesis 15:18
From the beginning, Israel’s borders were never meant to be defined by the U.N. or the Oslo Accords. The Bible lays out a greater territory—one that includes parts of modern-day Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and even Iraq. The current war with Iran—and shifting alliances with countries like Syria and Saudi Arabia—may set the stage for Israel to expand defensively, only to later possess what was promised spiritually. This may be something done during the tribulation. It's hard to tell.
What is known is that Jeremiah 49 shows the weakening of Iran’s military might, and Israel’s return to its inheritance is being declared unapologetically.
The next logical event, if these threads continue, may involve a false peace, a rebuilt temple, or even the stage being set for a coming deceiver. But we're not there yet.
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” — Habakkuk 2:3
We’re not saying the Tribulation has started. We’re not naming the Antichrist. But prophecy isn’t activated in one instant—it unfolds, piece by piece, until suddenly, everything snaps into view.
This is one of those moments.
The bow of Elam may be broken. Israel is standing on covenant. And the land that once seemed like a political prize is now being treated as a divine inheritance.
Watch. Discern. Prepare. Because the scroll is unrolling—and you’re living in the margins between verses.

***UPDATE!!! June 15, 2025
Since Israel launched its surprise offensive—Operation Rising Lion—targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities and top IRGC leadership, the Middle East has been thrown into high-stakes volatility.
In retaliation, Iran launched over 100 attack drones toward Israel, though most were intercepted by Israeli and allied regional defense systems. Meanwhile, Iran’s leadership has vowed a “decisive response,” fueling fears of a broader regional war. Airspace across Jordan, Iraq, and parts of the Gulf has been restricted. Markets are rattled, oil prices are surging, and U.S. military forces are repositioning throughout the region.
UPDATE!!! June 21, 2025
BREAKING NOW: The U.S. has joined strikes on Iran—bombing three nuclear sites with B‑2 bombers after Israel’s earlier air campaign. 🇺🇸🇮🇱
The question now is what comes next? The prophecy claims a mass exodus will occur. We shall see. God be with all of us.
